Ginger Day at ITI

An awareness programme on Ginger based products,

Date: 14 May 2009

Time: 8.30- am – 12. 30 pm

Venue : ITI Main Auditorium

Target audience: Ginger growers, Exporters and Importers, Food Industry Personnel, Officers from Government and other Research Institutions etc.

Objectives :

  • To introduce the quality characterises of locally grown ginger varieties
  • To introduce value added products developed from ginger
  • To introduce machinery developed for ginger processing

Topics covered: Lectures and demonstrations on ginger based product development and relevant machinery

Fees: Rs. 500/- + 12% VAT (including resource materials and morning refreshments)

Please register on or before 13th May 2009. The number of participants is limited; therefore early registration is advised. The programme will be conducted in English and Sinhala.
