UNIDO Assisted Calibration in Pakistan

IML at ITI was able to offer its accredited calibration services to overseas clients as ITI has been recognized as a quality service provider by the UNIDO and other international agencies.

We calibrated 47 analytical/top loading balances in 2009 and 52 analytical/top loading balances in 2010 in 10 testing laboratories located in different cities in Pakistan including Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore and Faisalabad. Since we are accredited by SWEDAC, we received the request to calibrate analytical/top loading balances for second consecutive year from The United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) for 10 Testing laboratories in Pakistan. UNIDO had assisted them to achieve accreditation to ISO/IEC 17025 by ILAC MRA signatory Accreditation Body within the framework of the Trade Related Technical Assistance (TRTA) program funded by the European Commission (EC).
