Dedicated to demand-driven research and natural products, The Herbal Technology Division (HTD) of ITI spearheads the development of herbal and biotechnology related services. Formerly known as the Natural Products Development Group, the HTD is one of the oldest natural product research groups in the country.
Serving both industry and the public at large, the HTD has pioneered many important projects, such as essential oil research, including the compositional analysis of oils such as Cinnamon, Clove and Nutmeg.
