RISK ASSESSMENT OF CHEMICAL LEAKAGES AND SPILLAGES
Identification and assessment of risk associated with the industrial processes and/or processing material to determine extent of threat and mitigation level of hazardous characteristics are one of the decision making tool for granting approval for such activities. 'ALOHA' and 'SLAB View' models developed by USEPA are utilized as computer based simulation and modeling tool that can be utilized for evaluation of risk level associated with disoersion of pollution plumes heavier than air.
