The objective of this project is to enhance the quality of ‘Jaadi’ by formulation of standard inoculum and optimize their activity with correct levels of ingredients and conditions. Isolation and identification of microorganisms of ‘Jaadi’ samples collected from different locations of the country   and, Molecular identification of bacterial and fungal isolates using PCR will be conducted. Jaadi will be prepared at the fish laboratory, ITI following the standard hygienic practices and the Microbiological shelf life analysis will be conducted for the prepared Jaadi samples.
