Our staff has received international awards such as WAITRO and Geneva International Invention Awards. In addition, they have received national awards including Presidential Awards, Sahasak Nivavum Award, National Science and Technology Award for Scientists, National Inventors Award, National Research Council Award, National APEX Award, SUSRED Award, CARP Award and DASIS Award.

These awards collectively showcase the institution’s dedication to excellence in various fields and its significant impact at both national and international levels. Gold Medal in the Open category under technical field of Agriculture for the Development of Natural Agricultural Pest Control Agents (NAPCA) by using Sri Lankan grown medicinal and aromatic plant extracts for the control of sucking agricultural pests at the awards ceremony organized by the Sri Lanka Inventors Commission in 2020.
