Room Acoustics Measurements
Room Acoustics is a broad term that describes the acoustic properties of closed spaces. Measuring and controlling this behavior of waves is particularly useful in rooms where the quality of announcement messages and/or music is important, such as in conference halls, classrooms, concert halls and recording studios. Services to measure and list the key measurements required to determine the acoustic properties of a room are offered.
Building Acoustics Measurements
Building acoustics concerns the level of acoustic comfort for the occupants of buildings. Majority of building acoustic measurements are performed in conformance with ISO standards that defines measurement procedures of sound insulation in buildings.
Laboratory Measurement of Airborne Sound Transmission Loss
We can measure the sound reduction index in our transmission suite. This consists of two adjacent reverberate rooms that are structurally isolated from one another. Noise is generated in the source room and then the difference between the levels of the sound between the two rooms is measured.
Simulating and Measuring the Interior Acoustics Using of the ODEON
We can simulating and measuring the interior acoustics of buildings, with the appropriate treatment, outdoor situations can be studied as well. Given a 3d-model and materials (surface properties), the acoustics can be predicted, illustrated and listened to. Sound reinforcement is easily integrated into the acoustic predictions.
Our world-class calibration laboratory utilize compliant quality system to service the sound level meters used to provide product certifications.
